ChainMaster in Australia
ChainMaster Bühnentechnik GmbH of Eilenburg now has a distribution and sales partner in Australia with a head office near Brisbane on the Gold Coast and branches in Melbourne and Sydney. With offices in three Australian states, extensive distribution throughout Australia and New Zealand, ULA has built a reputation as an industry leading import and wholesale company. Established in 1986 by Managing Director Cuono Biviano, ULA has a rich history of success representing world leading products.
ChainMaster is among the most highly respected manufacturers of chain hoists and chain-hoist controllers in the world and can already point to its first reference project in Australia: the Gold Coast Convention Centre, which has just taken delivery of twelve electric chain-hoists – each with a lifting capacity of 1,000 kg. The hoists in question are extremely versatile and will be able to adapt flexibly to the differing demands of the various events staged at the Centre.
ChainMaster of Eilenburg has been producing chain hoists and controllers for theatrical and show stages since 1990, references including the Pentagon Museum, the Kremlin and the international tours of acts like Metallica, Paul McCartney and U2.
The Saxony-based firm is now one of the leading suppliers of chain hoists and chain-hoist controllers in the world. Among ChainMaster’s greatest successes has been the development of the VarioLift. As the new products multiply, the company, too, is expanding to meet increasing demand.
Currently it employs some 20 workers in its own hi-tech production facility in Eilenburg. As well as developing a powerful distribution network inside Germany, ChainMaster has been particularly successful in the export market, exports currently accounting for around 60 per cent of the company’s turnover.
