IOSONO and DirectOut
IOSONO and DirectOut GmbH, known manufacturers of pro audio equipment, announce close cooperation.
IOSONO and DirectOut GmbH announced a close cooperation enabling both companies to provide even more advanced audio products to the cinema and entertainment industry.
The main objective of this collaboration is a joint development and integration of audio hardware components, such as D.O.TEC A/D converters into the next generation of IOSONO spatial audio processors. Customers will benefit from a technology-advanced yet streamlined audio system with no need for additional, cost-intensive external hardware.
This week, both companies will show their latest products together at prolight+sound exhibition, the largest trade show for technologies and services for the events industry.
“Just like DirectOut, we at IOSONO aim to provide our customers with the best sound experience possible. This collaboration enables us to respond faster and more tailored to individual customer requirements”, says Olaf Stepputat, CEO of IOSONO.
Both engineering teams will start pooling their knowledge and jointly working on a seamless integration of D.O.TEC and IOSONO products resulting in a more streamlined and reliable operation of all hardware components in day-to-day use.
“We’re very excited to extend our collaboration with IOSONO, as they have been successfully installing high quality sound systems since many years and we have already realized exciting projects in the past,” says Stephan Flock, CEO of DirectOut GmbH.
IOSONO has used pro audio equipment by DirectOut in several of their cinema and event installations. IOSONO’s 3D sound systems for World Expo 2012, Robert Wilson’s “Via Crucis” or IOSONO equipped cinemas in China and Korea incorporated D.O.TEC ANDIAMO.XT or D.O.TEC ANDIAMO converters.
IOSONO will show its latest pro audio products at the booth of pro audio equipment manufacturer and collaboration partner DirectOut GmbH, at booth B91 in hall 8.0.
IOSONO's surround mixing plug-in Anymix Pro will be shown as part of the presentation of the new Nuendo 6. The latest release of the digital audio workstation with Anymix Pro on board will be presented at the Yamaha booth F50 in hall 8.0.
