XYZ Wireless Controller
The XYZ Wireless Controller enables the EN61508 BGV-C1/SIL3 compliant multi-user operation of electrical chain hoists, trolleys, rope winches and stage machinery throughout the stage area. The controller is also ideal for programming complex sequences of movements in offline operation, making it an extraordinarily flexible interface between operators and stage hoists.
The user interface and the clearly laid-out functions enable simple, intuitive operation while maximizing safety and allowing continuous access to the hoists and stage machinery integrated into the system. A mobile docking station, a supporting arm system and a shoulder strap make using the XYZ Wireless Controller a breeze.
Various USB devices and additional operating panels with hotkeys and signal lights are available as optional extras. The XYZ Wireless Controller comes with a plastic dust shield or on request a professional flight case.
The compact plastic housing developed especially for mobile use is light yet robust thanks to the use of state-of-the-art technology. Two pluggable lithium-ion rechargeable batteries with a capacity of 6,600mA/h each enable an operating time of up to six hours and up to twelve hours on standby. The controller’s power management allows operation to reliably continue while the battery is being replaced.
The hardware on which the ChainMaster XYZ controller is based is an industrial PC. The control software featuring real-time visualization runs on a special edition of Windows XP tailored to industrial computers. A failsafe wireless protocol is used to transmit all safety-relevant signals. Data for the safety computers are transmitted via WLAN to industrial-standard access points. Any number of USB memory sticks with user login and stored access rights can be used.
The XYZ Wireless Controller was developed for users requiring maximum flexibility, safety and reliability. The XYZ Wireless Controller is suitable for mobile use during tours and shows as well as for permanent installation in discotheques, theatres, opera houses and arenas.
